Frank’s Law

More good news today. We are absolutely delighted that the Scottish Government are to fully implement Franks Law. Those of you who have been members or followers for a couple of years will remember that this was the first good cause that we supported and Amanda Kopel is an honorary member of ULT. She has worked tirelessly to make this a reality and it will make a massive difference to the lives of people affected. Congratulations to Amanda. A glass of something fizzy tonight is well-deserved and it will come as no surprise that we will raise a glass too….to you and Frankie. ❤️ x

Great News!

ULT Honorary Member, Amanda Kopel has been nominated for the Great Scot Award 2017.

The star-studded event boasts Sir Alex Ferguson and actor Brian Cox OBE among previous winners and Amanda has said she is humbled and honoured to have even been nominated.

Amanda has worked tirelessly to stop the current discrimination towards people under the age of 65 years who require care for a degenerative brain disease. Frank’s Law is the campaign she launched in 2013 to bring about this change. More information can be found here.

The winners of the Great Scot Awards 2017 will be announced on 28th October at the event in Glasgow. Good luck Amanda!
